The Role

Tasks

-Approve, enter and present all rental applications to the General Manager for execution -Assist in the development and implementation of resident retention programs -Assist in the preparation of weekly reports related to the property’s performance as required -Manage property licenses and the renewal process by liaison with legal counsel and the City -Assist with leasing in an effort to ensure full lease-up and maintenance of high occupancy levels; includes the mailing of renewal offers, logging of responses and management of property availability -Ensure that leases and resident check-ins are accurate and efficient -Assist with the check-out process to ensure compliance with final account statement requirements; includes accepting keys for departing residents and performing inspections of vacated units -Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, employees and vendors -Assist in the development and implementation of advertising/marketing programs to position the property in the marketplace -Answer telephones as needed -Investigate and respond to concerns/complaints from residents in a timely manner ensuring accuracy and fostering good public relations; includes reporting to the General Manager -Assist with ensuring an accurate record of availability that is compatible with the lease renewal report

What You Bring

-Knowledge of Entrata is preferred -First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain -Excellent customer service skills -Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance is preferred -Ability to operate fax machine, copier, telephone, personal computer, typewriter, calculator, adding machine, key machine, key card system and vacuum -Accurate typing and record keeping -Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a variety of practical situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may occasionally call for minor deviations -Knowledge of and adherence to all federal, state and local laws -Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook -Accurate in preparation of documents to ensure grammatical and legal correctness -Accurate in numerical analysis and transfer of related data -Ability to think rationally beyond a specific set of instructions -Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience -Ability to communicate effectively and professionally while operating in a fast paced environment -Computer skills and math ability -Ability to follow through with all necessary paperwork and ensure all deadlines are met
