Tasks

-Become familiar with all JELD-WEN products in your coverage region. -Maintain tools and service vehicle in proper and safe working order. -Complete daily assigned warranty field service tasks, while taking quality photos and producing accurate and complete reporting of product and construction issues. -Visit customer homes or job sites to diagnose and repair windows and doors, ensuring proper installation, alignment, and function. -Operate a company service vehicle in a safe and considerate manner. -Follow JELD-WEN policies and procedures while operating safely, professionally, and efficiently.

What You Bring

-Must have a valid driver’s license as well as a clean driving record. -Experience in residential or commercial window and door installation, repair, or glazing required; general carpentry or construction background considered a plus. -5 years field service technician experience (or experience in the same or similar industry is a plus.) -Strong customer service skills, excellent communication, and organizational skills. -High School Diploma or HSED. -Be dependable, self-motivated, have the ability to problem solve and contribute to building a positive team environment. -Knowledge of window and door installation and repair practices. -Must have carpentry skills, be able to use hand and power tools and measuring devices. -The ability to lift 50-75 lbs., climb, lift, pull; and safely perform tasks on a ladder, scaffolding, or other raised devices.
