What You Bring

-The successful candidate may be required to complete training during a Mon - Thurs / Fri weekday shift and will move to weekends once they have sufficient experience -Experience operating forklift and overhead crane is preferred -Understands drawings, specifications & salvage instructions -Strong organizational and communication skills -This posting is for a static weekend shift scheduled Fri, Sat, Sun - 12 hours per day -Use of measuring tools -A minimum of 6 months working in Wage Grade 3 or higher. Relevant & applicable external experience to the position will alternatively be considered -Ability to regularly lift and handle material weighing up to 40 pounds -Able to work in uncomfortable or unusual positions at times -Previous welding experience is preferred -Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a safe manner and comply in all aspects of the organizations policies and procedures -A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator -Competency in a machine, welding or grinding shop environment is preferred -Applicants must apply with either an updated Professional Profile on Workday or attached resume to be considered -Must be able to communicate written and spoken English effectively -Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time -Ability to use precision measuring tools and a high attention to detail -Able to work indoors with noise, vibrations, and other hazards that are common to the job -Will require successful completion of drug and alcohol testing, a criminal background check, and a medical assessment
