The Role

HSQE Advisor managing health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance for water plant upgrades.

Tasks

The HSQE Advisor will support the on-site PM in managing and coordinating all matters of HSQE associated with the on-site mechanical and process upgrade works at a water treatment facility. -Ensure compliance with all current legislation, including codes of practice and relevant standards. Assist in the maintenance of the company legal register. -Review and comment on Subcontractor’s RAMS. -Review and implement client HSQE standards & procedures. -Review and implement Site Quality Management Plan on the BIM platform. -Support the investigation of accidents and dangerous occurrences, maintaining proper records and complying with and reporting to relevant bodies. -Review and implement Construction Health and Safety Plans. -Record HSQE statistics including Key Performance Indicators. -Arrange, prepare, and carry out site inductions. -Update and maintain all records associated with the HSQE management system. -Arrange, co-ordinate, and minute site Health and Safety meetings and capture action plans. -Review and implement Site Construction Stage Environmental Management Plan. -Provide monthly HSQE report. -Procure site services and equipment. -Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements as required. -Upload HSQE documentation to BIM. -Review and implement HSQE management procedures. -Prepare site HSQE handover over documentation.

What You Bring

-Recognised qualification in Health and Safety, or similar. -Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. -You must be legally permitted to live and work in Ireland. -Familiarity with water treatment plants would be preferred. -Mechanical & Electrical experience would be beneficial. -5 years’ experience within the Health & Safety and/or Environmental Engineering disciplines. -Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. -Ability to work on own initiative and be innovative. -Experience with UI systems and procedures, safety expectations etc.
