The Role

Overview

Design and manage electrical systems for industrial/municipal water and wastewater facilities.

Tasks

-Supervise and/or mentor other electrical engineers and designers. -Coordinate with other disciplines, project managers and clients to meet project and client expectations. -Lead and manage projects for the electrical group to include marketing, cross-functional team coordination, client engagement and interaction and communication. -Provide construction administration for electrical projects to include responding to requests for information, change orders, inspection and punch list generation. -Conducting field investigations, condition assessments, writing reports and interfacing with clients. -Develop electrical design solutions for industrial and municipal projects, in particular for water and wastewater facilities. -Produce and manage the production of construction documents, including detailed drawings and specifications for lighting, power distribution and control systems.

What You Bring

-Revit and/or AutoCAD experience. -Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, field surveys, construction observation, etc. -Proficient in applicable electrical codes, interior lighting design, exterior/outdoor lighting design, voltage drop calculations, power distribution design, one-line diagrams, schematics, back-up power systems, and control systems. -Related experience in Commercial and/or Industrial system design, with experience in water and wastewater facilities a plus. -SKM proficiency in short circuit, load flow, fault analysis, and arc flash. Experience with water and wastewater facility design. -Understand design codes, standards, specifications and ability to interpret them. -Minimum of 5+ years' experience -Project management experience, or interest/capability in becoming a project manager. -Experience as the electrical discipline lead on project and responsible to the project manager or client. -Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college. -Licensed Electrical Engineer with ability to be licensed in multiple states. -Strong verbal and written communication skills. -This opportunity is also open to candidates residing in the following areas: St. Paul MN, Minnetonka MN, Rochester MN, Mankato MN, Madison WI, Milwaukee WI, Chippewa Falls WI, Charlottesville VA, Des Moines IA, Sioux City, SD, Duluth MN, St. Paul MN, St. Cloud MN, Austin TX, or you can work Remote-Wisconsin OR Remote- Minnesota!!
