Senior Manager, Project Execution

Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of solar & battery projects, managing teams and budgets.

Tasks

-Oversee Residential Business Workmanship warranty and production claims -Remain abreast of IRA and other pertinent financial requirements and integrate requirements into EPC or subcontract documents -Plan, monitor, and control all assigned projects' scope, budget, and schedule -Collaborate cross-functionally through various departments to complete tasks assigned -Supervise direct reports as a manager in both project and business contexts -Travel as needed to meet departmental goals -Responsibility for overall deliverables as designated by the supervisor -Negotiate with subcontractors or EPCs as appropriate -Review and approve EPC and subcontract language for all projects to ensure scope captures all aspects of the project’s requirements to protect the company -Delegate responsibility amongst direct reports, monitor and progress report -Maintain an expert level knowledge of project delivery means methods and techniques in order to direct the work of others -Review and interpret reports from Project and Construction managers and provide analysis and recommendation on appropriate path

-Demonstrated expertise in the renewable space, desire to learn about the Company -Responds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachable -Creative problem-solving ability within a team setting -Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds -Project Management PMP certification preferred -Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage customer relationships -Is detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business concepts -Retain working knowledge of all forms of agreement for off takers including Power Purchase Agreements, shared savings, Energy Performance Contract and Tolling agreements -Ability to multitask, while working independently and as part of a team -Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams -Detail-oriented engineer with an eye for the big picture -Undergraduate Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business or related field -Minimum of Three (3) years of experience managing teams of Project and Construction Managers -Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities -Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables -A minimum of twelve (12) years of direct experience in Solar and Battery Storage project delivery, being involved with the project planning, construction, commissioning, and operation -Strong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlines
