The Role
Overview
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems for injection molding operations.

Tasks
-Support integration of new equipment and automation systems. -Ensure all electrical work complies with NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70 E and company safety standards. -Collaborate with external controls engineers on troubleshooting and new applications. -Work at heights of up to 16 feet on ladders or platform trucks -Participate in safety audits and risk assessments. -Troubleshoot and isolate issues with hydraulic controls. -Maintain documentation for electrical systems and control panel changes. -Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance tasks. -Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical control systems including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and servo drives. -Diagnose and repair electrical faults in molding machines and auxiliary equipment. -Support utility systems such as compressed air, water, and electrical distribution. -Use diagnostic tools to identify potential failures and reduce downtime. -Assist in programming and modifying control logic for process optimization. -Conduct general facility repairs including lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components. -Ensure proper functioning of sensors, actuators, and safety interlocks. -Complete PMs with details on repairs and parts used.

What You Bring
-Basic safety equipment (i.e. safety glasses, ear plugs) will be provided -3+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in injection molding or plastics manufacturing. -Associate degree or technical certification in electrical engineering, industrial automation, or related field. -Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens). -Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. -Requires good mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing for long periods, bending, stooping, and lifting (to a maximum of 80 lbs). -Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and schematics. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -Familiarity with robotics, 3phase motor controls and industrial networking.
