Overview
Coordinate vehicle/plant servicing and repairs, ensure compliance and manage workflow.

Tasks
-Control the vehicle defecting reporting procedure using the R2C online portal for the fleet. -Good Understanding of the Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness and HGV Inspection Manual to ensure a declaration of Roadworthiness post repair can be made and to triage daily defect reporting ensuring vehicles remain compliant whilst in use. -Ensure the team complies with expected standards of behaviour, for example, respect for others and corporate values. -Ensuring good customer relations with colleagues, other customers, suppliers and other partner organisations. To give users of the fleet service confidence, knowledge and understanding of the safe use of plant and vehicles. -Vehicle servicing, inspecting, diagnosing, repairing with understanding of timescales -Allocate the servicing and repair of vehicles, plant and equipment to relevant Workshops to ensure that all assets are fit for purpose and meet any appropriate legislation requirements and standards e.g., O license, DVSA, NFCC, Quality Assurance etc. -Monitor and report to ensure work is being carried out in a timely manner to minimise vehicle downtime and maximise workshop income. Observe performance KPIs which are essential to reporting of Norfolk Fire & Rescue, Winter Services and Company operations.

What You Bring
-Operating and knowledge of the R2C Online Software and Portal or similar maintenance recording system. (Desirable) -City & Guilds, or NVQ equivalent certification in a vehicle discipline.(Essential) -Knowledge of Health and Safety and ability to promote best practice as an individual and for others(Essential) -Proven experience of working within a commercial / Light Vehicle Workshop. -Category C Driving Licence (Desirable) -Driver CPC (Desirable) -IRTEC certificate of competence in the inspection of vehicles.(Desirable)
