Tasks
You will play a key role in enabling efficient, traceable, and intelligent production processes through system integration, network architecture, equipment interfacing, and data communication across multiple sites. -Travel frequently (domestic and international) to support installation, trials, supplier engagement, and system integration. -Create and maintain Information System Technology Notices for Battery Pack PE North America. -Modify system specifications to support vendor design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities. -Lead Battery Pack Assembly Information Systems implementation with site and global teams, including network infrastructure, hardware interfacing, data collection systems, and server communication scripting. -Integrate information systems into each production line and process, enabling Line Control, Battery Part Selection, Traceability, Production Andon, and event reporting. -Guide equipment engineers on system integration requirements for North American battery pack assembly. -Plan, monitor, and track project status for design, build, installation, and confirmation phases. -Collaborate with cross-functional working groups including Battery Pack Assembly, IS/One-Tech, EDC, MDT, and NAMC teams. -Investigate and resolve interlock issues between equipment and IT/OT systems during setup, trials, and production.

Bonus Skills (Preferred) We are seeking a highly skilled Battery Pack Information Systems Integration Engineer to lead the deployment, integration, and performance of manufacturing information systems across battery pack assembly operations. This role sits at the intersection of manufacturing engineering, information systems, automation, and production line control, supporting both local and global teams. -10+ years working with Assembly, Body, or Powertrain Information Systems. -Programming exposure to C++, C#, Java, HTML, Python. -10+ years in Andon / Line Control systems, event tracking, downtime reporting, and production visualization. -10+ years of experience in Manufacturing Information Systems, including QIS, EDC, MDT. -Strong familiarity with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams). -Skilled in Oracle/SQL Server, network protocols (Ethernet IP, FLnet, TCP/IP), wireless networks, and serial communication. -Experience with quality information systems and part traceability. -Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally. -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or an Associate degree with equivalent technical experience. -PLC programming experience (Toyopuc, Omron, Siemens). -Deep experience with Toyopuc PLC environments. -10+ years of production equipment procurement, installation, and/or commissioning. -Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime (up to 25%).
