Overview

Tasks

-Contribute to architectural deliverables on projects, working with Design Director(s) and project team(s) for all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production -Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination -Contribute to resolution of complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions -Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings -Contribute to office activities, initiatives and learning programs -Support and collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives

What You Bring

-A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment -Licensed / Registered Architect (If you are in the process of taking exams, feel free to contact [email protected] to discuss a similar role.) -Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices; Portfolios should include at least one project (especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwel, and/or Net Zero Building certification) with this particular focus, which we look forward to discussing during the interview -Knowledge of materials, construction techniques and building codes and the design process -Organization, communication, and relationship building skills -Must be proficient in Revit and the Adobe Suite. Proficiency with Rhino, Grasshopper, Parametric Modeling, Sketch-up, 3D Studio Max and VRay is a plus. -Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited program -3-6 years of relevant architecture and design experience within a commercial design firm -Conceptual 3-dimensional thinking skills and graphic presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideas -Creativity Initiator that brings curiosity, enthusiasm and a “can do” attitude -Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly -Ideal candidate will have experience with multiple building typologies of varying scale, including commercial office and mixed-use buildings, sports and entertainment venues, workplace interiors and repositioning projects
