The Role
Overview
Provide commissioning support, troubleshooting, and coordination for utility‑scale solar and BESS projects.

Tasks
-Participate in daily/weekly progress meetings. -Work under general guidance to coordinate and perform commissioning activities. -Provide training to subcontractors and 3rd party vendors, training to include LOTO and Energized Zone Training -Maintain commissioning logs, equipment checklists and LOTO logs. -Assist in preparation of plans at beginning of projects for receiving, storing, and managing materials and tools as required. -Work performed around hazardous equipment. -Assist in the startup of commissioned equipment. -Coordinate and perform field troubleshooting of commissioned equipment, to include generating methods of procedures. -Maintain documentation for all equipment and systems required on projects.

What You Bring
-Must have strong communications skills (in English) both verbal and written. -Practical and applicable knowledge of PV systems, to include DC and AC components. -Ability to read and interpret schematics. -Must be able to work extended hours on your feet on uneven surfaces (dirt, concrete, asphalt, mud, gravel etc. full range of motion and flexibility consistent with requirements of the job duties. -Work performed at low and/or high elevations -General understanding of SCADA infrastructure. -Practical and applicable knowledge electrical concepts. -Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time. -5+ years of relevant experience. -Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at elevated heights as well as in confined spaces -Work performed in confined areas. -Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position -OSHA 30 Certification. -Able to walk or move continuously while carrying 50 lbs. of tools and/or materials. It is -Required repetitive movement. -Ability to manage time and work priorities independently. -Excessive humidity, rain etc. -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. -NFPA 70.E Certification. -Practical and applicable knowledge of test equipment, to include multimeters, clamp-style ammeters, insulation resistance testers and ground fault finders. -Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate with others is necessary. -Travel up to 100% as needed. -Able to climb and maintain balance of ladders, scaffolding, stairways etc.
