Tasks

-Leading on the coordination and delivery of planning / environmental work being undertaken by multi-disciplinary teams, influencing project development and delivering optimal environmental and planning outcomes – with a strong understanding of the D&B process. -Work closely with existing and established Arcadis colleagues across our Global Business Arcadis -Raise awareness of our services, winning new opportunities and building new contacts. -Actively engage in key client relationships, lead by example creating cross selling opportunities for the wider business. -Strong business development, create project opportunities and lead delivery of projects to build our portfolio in the D&B Sector – but also working closely with the upstream Environmental and Planning upstream work. -Engaging with consultees and stakeholders -Managing projects, overseeing our performance on technical, quality, commercial, and health and safety

What You Bring

-Experience across a range of project types -Strong experience of working with Contractors and influencing sustainability through design -Strong report writing, verbal and presentation skills with experience in reviewing the work of others to ensure quality -Excellent working knowledge of the environmental and consenting process, from EIA practices and procedures, including case law, and a solid understanding of environmental and sustainability principles and environmental technical specialisms -Commercial expertise, including forecasting, project management and quality assurance -Relevant degree or equivalent qualification, preferably with chartered status or working towards -Experience in consulting and negotiating with planning authorities, regulators and stakeholders -Experience in multi-disciplinary co-ordination and leadership of projects, with good project management and technical skills
