The Role

Tasks

-Facilitate onboarding activities from pre-hire to new-hire integration, ensuring a positive employee experience. -Act as the first point of contact for employees, collecting, directing, and/or responding to employee inquiries, connecting employees with HR experts when needed. -Support the execution of key HR programs including engagement, benefits, wellness, learning, and talent acquisition to support organizational goals. -Maintain confidentiality of all employee information, exercising good judgement in handling sensitive matters and materials. -Support fulfilling compliance requirements by processing governmental requests and maintaining required workplace and safety postings. -Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems and databases in accordance with company policy and legal requirements. -Assist with system administration and logistical support in all areas of HR, as needed. -Plan, coordinate, & execute employee engagement events & activities – including travel to event venues and offsite locations – while prioritizing equity and a positive environment.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and execute various types of events. -Flexibility to respond to changing priorities and deadlines. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software. -Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. -Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field AND 1+ years relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. -Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time. -Basic knowledge of human resources policies, practices, and procedures. -Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. -Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels. -Demonstrates ease of use with HR systems and databases. -Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. -Must be able to lift up to 25lbs at times. -Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. -Ability to work on computer for extended periods of time.
