Tasks

-Contribute to PV and energy solution tender processes, including concept design, detailed documentation, and budget development. -Develop detailed electrical and system designs in accordance with Australian Standards and regulatory requirements. -Partner with Business Development to shape compelling technical and commercial offers for customers. -Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and customer expectations. -Lead technical design and optimisation of large-scale battery and solar projects. -Oversee Safety in Design assessments and lead technical review meetings for commercial battery and solar projects. -Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to deliver practical, cost-effective, customer-focused solutions. -Lead technical design and decision-making for commercial-scale battery systems, optimising cost, performance, and reliability.

What You Bring

-Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, DNSP connection requirements, and safety frameworks. -Demonstrated ability to develop accurate cost estimates from concept through delivery. -5+ years’ experience designing and delivering commercial BESS (>100 kW) and solar PV systems (>100 kW). -Proficiency with PVSyst, Helioscope, and AutoCAD (or similar design tools). -Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative, customer-focused mindset.
