Create shop drawings and 3D models in AutoCAD/Tekla for structural steel projects.

Tasks

As a Steel Detailer, you’ll create shop drawings and 3D models in AutoCAD and Tekla, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specs and AISC standards. You’ll work closely with PMs, surveyors, and fabricators to support successful fabrication and erection. -Ensure AISC/industry compliance -Develop accurate shop drawings & erection details -Support fabrication/installation teams -Review construction docs for accuracy

What You Bring

(Must be a US Citizen and Green card holder) -Strong blueprint reading/detailing skills -Knowledge of AISC standards (preferred) -3+ years with AutoCAD & Tekla -Model with AutoCAD and Tekla -Degree/experience in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction -Detail-oriented, proactive communicator

Benefits

💰 Salary: $70,000–$90,000 (Based on Experience) -Health insurance, 401(k), and perks -$70K–$110K base salary (DOE) -Growth opportunities within a proven NYC steel leader
