The Role

Overview

Assist in managing and delivering utility‑scale solar construction projects across the US.

Tasks

-Coordinate with regional managers on status of projects -Maintain prime contract with the Owner or Client -Create subcontracts and PO's -Approve material and subcontract invoices for payment -Write reports, business correspondence and document project activities -Establish monthly billing procedure with the Owner or Client -Coordinate situations with engineers -Establish and maintain job cost control, which will be reported monthly -Coordinate with estimating on projects -Work on projects in planning stages -Review subcontractor's application for payment based on percent complete and approve or adjust -Work with owners and clients on specifications and technical questions in planning stages -Issue change orders to subcontractors -Effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors -Submittals and requests for information -Identify, research and resolve all contract disputes with the Owner -Coordinate change order requests -Effectively present information and respond to questions from project managers, superintendents, clients, customers and the general public -Review general conditions cost on a monthly basis -Initiate and execute all monthly progress payments to the Owner -Take reasonable care of your own and others' health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward The Company's Zero Injury principles -Coordinate engineering studies -Manage QA/QC on projects -Track job costs and predict monthly revenue streams -Coordinate with owners or clients on planning projects

What You Bring

-Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience -Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Read, analyze and interpret blueprints, professional journals, technical procedures, contracts or governmental regulations -Minimum of five years of Solar or EPC construction industry experience/knowledge of construction techniques, estimating and construction management -Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume; ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
