Tasks

-Prepare & Certify Documentation: Sign off on APUs, SAPs, SCRs, and ESDARs, ensuring all meet Soil Rules and Regulation 406/19 standards. -Financial Management: Manage project budgets, invoicing, and subcontractor processes to ensure profitability and client satisfaction. -Continuous Improvement: Recommend process enhancements to the Operations Manager and Director to drive quality and efficiency. -Lead Projects: Oversee Excess Soils and RSC projects, ensuring full compliance with Ontario’s Excess Soil Regulation, Soil Rules, and O. Reg 153/04. -Business Development: Identify new opportunities with existing and prospective clients, and support direct marketing initiatives. -Team Leadership: Mentor and coordinate junior and intermediate staff, providing training and technical guidance. -Proposal and Technical Report reviews: Review O. Reg 153/04 and Excess Soils proposals and reports for clients, collaborating with Technical Managers and other Senior Reviewers to ensure accuracy and alignment with client needs. -Client Engagement: Serve as the principal contact for clients, meeting with them to understand requirements and preparing tailored proposals and cost estimates.

What You Bring

-Experience preparing and reviewing proposals and reports. -Professional designation (P.Geo., P.Eng., or LET and QPESA) required. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project). -Proven expertise in RSC submissions and Ontario environmental regulations (153/04, 406/19). -Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills. -7 to 8 years of experience in consulting, project management, or industry roles with a focus on Excess Soils and RSCs. -Bachelor’s degree in Earth Sciences, Engineering, or a related field. -Strong business development and client relationship skills.
