The Role
Overview
Design and draft water/wastewater infrastructure using AutoCAD for civil projects.

Tasks
-Occasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist -Complete drawing reviews as needed. -Use established CADD standards to prepare electronic drawings from marked-up plans and/or verbal instruction by engineers/designers. -Coordinate with engineers and other design team members. -Organize and schedule work to accomplish goals on projects within established budgets and timelines. -Perform design drafting of water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and various other facilities. -Organize and maintain project files. -May be required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to, flame resistant clothing, hard hat, and protective footwear -Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight

What You Bring
-Associates degree in Computer Aided Design and Drafting or related field. -Ability to work occasional overtime. -Proficient in Civil3D. -Civil Site Design experience. -Attention to detail. -Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time -Site Grading Modeling experience. -Autodesk Docs experience. -Proficient in AutoCAD. -Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. -All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records research, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations. -Underground Infrastructure Design experience. -3+ years drafting experience. -Ability to walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrain -May require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds -Ability to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects. -May be required to travel to off-site locations including occasional overnight stays out of town
