Copper Fabrication Operator - 1st Shift

Tasks

-Fabricate and/or modify and assemble braces, spacers, barriers, and supports for copper or aluminum as required. -Operate fabricating equipment such as shear, punch, bender, and nibbler to make or modify all types of bus connectors, risers, taps, mains, etc. -Set up and operate nibbler/punch press to modify or add cutouts and holes to doors, covers, etc. -Utilize manufacturing information sheets, determine necessary parts, write requisitions and work with Kan Ban attendant to obtain materials from stock areas -Clean and lubricate equipment, clear slugs and check punches as necessary. -Use hand tools to deburr and finish pieces as required. -Assemble, tape, or sleeve if required or necessary. -Utilize electric trucks and cranes to move material and product as required

What You Bring

-Must reside within 50-mile radius of Fayetteville, NC -Work from oral and/or written instructions coming from supervisors and/or prints, sketches and manufacturing information sheets. -A minimum of one (1) year experience in manufacturing -Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc -Fabrication experience in a manufacturing setting -Sufficient knowledge of the operation of machines required to fabricate metal parts with an ability to make sketches of bus bar assemblies as needed from the actual assemblies on the floor. -High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution -Must be able to understand and read wiring diagrams/ blueprints
