The Role
Overview
Repair & maintain facilities, handle work orders, ensure safety & compliance.

Tasks
-Assist and perform other work as assigned to support facilities activities -Utilize x5 for work order and PM (Preventative Maintenance) management -Respond to and troubleshoot maintenance requests involving electrical, structural, plumbing and equipment repair or replacement -Comply with Company safety procedures at all times -Implement corrective and preventative actions to reduce costs and improve reliability -Maintain effective communications across all departments -Perform all scheduled maintenance as established in x5 (Daikin’s CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System)), and provides input into new maintenance schedules as equipment/facilities are added or changed -Respond to emergencies and support after-hours facility needs and activities as required -Assist in activities related to internal and external environmental audits -Monitor and operate the Daikin Building Management System (BMS) -Support laboratory testing activities in accordance with standard procedures, test requirements, and the ISO 17025 standard -Ensure standards, policies, procedures, and maintenance of a clean work area are upheld at all times -Maintain chillers -Maintain a working knowledge of EH&S safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner -Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair test rooms, test cells and facilities -Ensure facilities comply with all environmental policies and procedures -Submit purchase order requisitions for parts -Direct and work alongside contractors, as needed

What You Bring
-Must be able to obtain and maintain a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification -Two-year associate degree in HVAC maintenance-related subject matter (e.g., HVAC/R Certified Technician) -Demonstrate excellent customer service skills -Universal refrigerant certification (EPA 608) -Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position -The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth -Obtain powered industrial truck certified training within a year -7+ years experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
