The Role

Overview

Manage storage, picking, and issuance of materials, handle inbound/outbound shipments.

Tasks

-Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements. -Receives inbound freight and visually inspects it for shipping damage. -Frequently push and pull up to 50 lbs. -Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements and policies. -Frequently stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, climb, maneuver, stoop, squat, grasp, and reach. -Issues job skids to manufacturing supervisors and collects the supervisor’s signature on pick lists and ABMs. -Pulls items from stock as required by pick lists and Addendum Bill of Material (ABMs), assembles job skids with these items. -Delivers parts to cells and gathers signatures. -Keeps records of receipts for inventory control and tracking purposes. -Completes outgoing paperwork for shipments -Backs up production. -Sorts recently received items and places these items in their designated storage areas. -Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition. Consistently operate in keeping with all safety rules and requirements. -Maintains areas of the stockroom in neat and orderly fashion. -Picks, pulls and packages/crates outgoing shipments.

What You Bring

-Uses basic Microsoft office software such as Excel and Word. -Has knowledge of the MRP system (Glovia). -Munters Orientation -Minimum of High School Diploma or GED -State-of-the-art equipment and tools to support your work -Frequently lift and carry up to 75 lbs. -Is able to operate a forklift when necessary. -Visual and aural acuity -Quality Assurance and Safety Awareness
