Tasks

-Conduct inventory and vendor analysis by reviewing costs, invoicing accuracy, and helping the team with new software implementation. -Support the preparation of financial statements by gathering and verifying data from various departments. -Assist with cash reconciliations and follow up on any discrepancies to ensure accurate reporting. -Format PDF only (no Word, Google Docs, or separate files) -Collaborate with the AP team to ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices. -Participate in ad hoc financial projects and reporting requirements, adapting to evolving needs as they arise.

What You Bring

-Attention to Detail High level of accuracy in data handling and report preparation. -Analytical Skills Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and assist in data-driven decision-making. -Complete a Medical and/or Alcohol & Drug test if the role is considered safety sensitive. -Be legally entitled to work in Canada (Citizen, PR, or valid work permit). -Adaptable and resourceful, with a strong ability to collaborate. -Technical Proficiency Strong knowledge of Excel and experience with accounting or financial software is a plus. -Communication Skills Effective written and verbal communication skills to work with multiple team members across the organization. -Team-Oriented A collaborative mindset, ready to support various finance functions and adapt as priorities shift. -Be enrolled in a post-secondary institution and available from May to August. -Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics. -Applications that are not submitted as one combined PDF may be considered incomplete. -Determined, resilient, and driven to see tasks through. -Recent Transcripts (official or unofficial)
