Overview

Design and support low‑voltage communication and security systems for building and transit projects.

Tasks

-Gaining knowledge in applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, and government standards. -Assisting Senior Engineers in the development of technical papers, reports, and calculations. -Developing probable construction cost estimates for equipment and installation. -Developing construction contract drawings and specifications for low-voltage communication and security systems supporting both building and transit facilities. -Conducting VSS camera coverage simulations and system layout evaluations. -Preparing proposals, reports, and presentations for key audiences.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated initiative, strong communication, and interpersonal skills. -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. -Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative team player. -Experience with AutoCAD, REVIT, and/or MicroStation. -Strong verbal and written communication skills. -Professional Licensure and Society Memberships -Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Project). -Excellent organization and planning abilities, including document control and reporting.
