Officer - Fleet

Oversee fleet vehicle maintenance, repairs, budgeting, compliance, and driver support.

Tasks

-Ensures compliance to safety, quality environmental management policies, procedures and controls. -Submit budget recommendations based on historical and analytical data. -Think out of the box to implement processes that help decrease costs and improve efficiency Reports. -Real Time System Records of Vehicle maintained. -Maintains accurate records of all fleet and equipment repairs and maintenance. -Directs repair and maintenance of vehicles using in-house mechanic staff or outsourcing to be approved vendors, as appropriate. -Direct the fleet assistants taking timely decision on day to day activities as and when required. -Handling drivers queries related to the vehicle maintenance & accidents. -Participate in the preparation and administration of the fleet budget for all Base Stations. -Timely Vehicle delivery to Drivers. -Ensures strict adherence by the fleet staffs in following the company's policies, processes & procedures. -Generates reports of all accident related charges for recovery and non-recovery for approval and adjustment of accounts. -Workshop invoice validation and control on the same. -Audits all service invoices by verifying the parts and labour rates associated with the service performed on the vehicle . -Generates daily report of work orders and maintenance activities carried out for reconciliation with other concerned departments. . -Monitor expenditures. Policies and Processes . -Provides necessary support to the manager by extracting data necessary to generate reports. -Monitors drivers for negligence of required vehicle services and reports to management if further action is required.

What You Bring

-Excellent analytical, inter-personnel, organizational & communicational skills. -Experience in automotive mechanical diagnosis and repair. -High degree of integrity & honesty in all dealings. -A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with at least 4 years in a similar role. -Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all competencies and skills required to perform the role. -Ability to work under pressure. -Diploma / Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in Engineering). -Good understanding of Fleet management requirements & dynamics.
