Tasks

Ensure adherence to all HSE regulations and company procedures. Oversee all site construction activities, including structure installation, MEP coordination, and finishing works. Lead and manage subcontractors, site engineers, and workforce to ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines, and safety standards. Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities to ensure smooth execution and compliance with event and governmental requirements. Monitor progress, prepare daily reports, and escalate critical issues to the Project Manager promptly. Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and QA/QC teams to maintain efficient workflow and quality assurance.

What You Bring

Ability to operate under a freelance / project-based contract. Strong technical understanding of temporary structures, MEP systems, and logistics planning. Minimum 8 years of experience in construction or event infrastructure management. Construction Manager – International Events experience Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proven experience in international or large-scale event projects (e.g., World Expo, FIFA, COP, or equivalent). Al Baddad International (ABI) is seeking an experienced Freelance Construction Manager to join our project delivery team for an upcoming international events project. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in temporary structures, event infrastructure, or large-scale pavilion construction, with strong leadership and coordination skills to manage on-site activities under tight schedules. Fluent in English (written and spoken). British nationality preferred, or candidates with prior experience in UK-based or international event projects.
