Handles shipping, receiving, storage, and inventory control of materials per cGMP.

Tasks

-Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives, programs, and projects. -Participate in activities that ensure all areas are prepared for regulatory audits and inspections. -Responsible for reporting risks/events to ensure the safety, purity, quality, and effectiveness of the product(s) manufactured are not impacted. -Operate trucks (flat bed or panel) to move warehouse materials, hazardous materials or general receiving goods following Department of Transportation regulations. -Practice a positive, constructive & ambitious work environment. -Execute critical warehouse operations related to shipping/receiving, storing, delivering, transferring, reconciling, and cycle counting materials per cGMP procedures and regulations, within multiple systems and/or between multiple sites. -Contribute to a safe workplace culture, ensuring safety & environmental requirements are met. -Ensure GMP activities follow approved GMP procedures and are documented according to cGMP and/or GDP requirements. Will also execute these GMP tasks as needed. -Ensure that all required training is completed prior to performing assigned GMP activities. -Use Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV) to move warehouse materials. -Ensure that materials are received, stored, and distributed according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and other applicable regulations and specifications.

What You Bring

-Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices or willing to learn -Ability to establish rapport with team members through good communication and positive attitude. -High school diploma/GED -Experience working in a warehouse environment (pharmaceuticals or biotechnology) -Aptitude to follow pre-determined SOPs and willingness to learn about industry-specific documentation practices. -Experience working within a warehouse and/or with material/inventory. -Possess and exhibit good attention to detail -Ability to comfortably lift 30lbs -Ability to carefully and accurately follow complex written procedures -Ability to operate a forklift or other powered industrial vehicle -Possess and exhibit excellent attention to detail and strong documentation abilities. -Able to work standing, walking, or, moving around offices, work site; climbing, crawling, crouching, or other non-sitting working positions; lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of heavy objects with appropriate industrial equipment -Knowledgeable of Cold Chain distribution requirement -Understand and carry out to Department of Transportation (DOT) and international shipping requirements (IATA) -Basic knowledge of warehouse inventory management, SAP and Microsoft Office
