Conduct site surveys and estimate costs for security and fire projects.

Tasks
-Interpret and analyze survey data, including emergency exit maps or site plans, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. -Maintain updated working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental regulations and building codes. -Persuade and convince others and approach challenges with positivity. -Collaborate with team members to share findings and contribute to innovative problem solving. -Conduct site visits to assess, inspect, measure, and document specified equipment conditions. -Coordinate tasks between our team and our partners and customers. -Communicate effectively with sellers, engineers, and team members. -Gather data and determine project feasibility using JC instruments. (e.g., Arcsite, measurement equipment). -Maintain high accuracy in survey assessments and cost estimations. -Conduct thorough research to find answers to complex questions and challenges, particularly those that may not have been encountered before. -Present complex information clearly to stakeholders. -Stay updated with advancements in surveying technology and estimating techniques.

What You Bring
-Experience in fire and security products or services preferred. -5 years' work experience in both surveying and estimating. -Problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve issues in project designs or cost structures. -Internships, apprenticeships, or prior employment in related roles (e.g., installation, service). -Ability to work in diverse environments, including outdoor areas, construction sites, and existing buildings. -Strong analytical skills to evaluate survey data and cost estimates. -Certifications in estimating related to various product offerings. -Professional certifications such as NICET (preferred). -Adapt to changes and promote operational improvements. -Manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
