Tasks
-Processing and issuing building permits. -Ensuring all conditions of approvals are met prior to issuance. -Coordinating and routing documents for plan review and approval. -Calculating and collecting permit fees. -Providing customer support at the counter and over the phone. -Verifying all necessary project approvals are obtained. -Helping resolve resident inquiries and complaints. -Reviewing permit applications for completeness and accuracy. -Assisting the public with completing permit applications. -Notifying applicants when construction documents and/or permits are ready.

What You Bring
-ICC Permit Tech Certification. -Knowledge of permitting software. -(Counter Technician) and municipal experience. -7+ years as a Permit Technician in Municipality. -Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel. -Detail-oriented and customer-focused professional who can balance technical accuracy with exceptional service. -Ability to lift/move up to 10 lbs. regularly and up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
