-Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitiveness and accuracy. -Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates. -Stay informed about current market trends, material costs, and labor rates to ensure accurate and competitive estimates. -Monitor project costs throughout the construction process for projects within the $15M-$150M range, providing regular updates and variance analysis. -Assist in the development and maintenance of cost databases for future reference. -Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for commercial construction projects ranging from $15M to $150M, with a specialized focus on concrete elements such as foundations, slabs, and structural components. -Prepare comprehensive bid proposals for projects of varying scales, ensuring all relevant details are included and accurate. -Participate in bid reviews and presentations to clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of the proposed construction costs. -Analyze project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to accurately determine project costs. -Maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors to foster effective communication and negotiation. -Collaborate with the project team to develop value engineering options and cost-effective solutions.
