Senior SHE Manager

Overview

Ensures site safety, health, environment compliance and manages SHE programs.

Tasks

-Ensures all health & well-being facilities (like drinking water, temporary rest shelter, toilets / urinals etc.) provided at the worksites. -Convene Project SHE Committee meeting & circulation of MOM & follow-up action. -Assesses risk associated with activities and determine the control measures. -Report and investigate all accidents / incidents and near misses. -Implement approved SHE Plan (Process, Procedure, Work Instruction, Audit Checklist, Programs) -Co-ordinate on purchase and quality control activities related to PPE / safety items. -Maintain requisite medical aids / firefighting equipment. -Ensure use of PPEs as per the guideline -Ensure the screening & pre-employment medical examination of workmen is effectively implemented by site admin and execution team. -Display and communicate SHE alerts, Directives, Do’s & Don’ts among the site personnel & workmen for creating wide awareness. -Ensure SHE induction, PPEs and ID card, 16 Hrs. Training is provided for all staff and workmen before deployment at site. -Ensure compliance with statutory SHE requirements. -Plan and conduct Internal Safety & Health Management training programs, job-specific / hazardous work activities trainings and Occupational health & well-being programs to site personnel & workmen and promote awareness. -Ensure compliance with the requirements of work permit system.
