Tasks

-Research vendor pricing and maintain up-to-date cost databases. -Collaborate with project teams to gather data and validate assumptions. -Review project plans, specifications, and documentation to prepare cost estimates. -Participate in bid preparations and pre-construction planning meetings. -Assist with quantity takeoffs and material cost calculations for various construction projects.

What You Bring

-Must possess strong attention to detail and ensure maximum quality of work throughout the lifecycle of Fire & Life Safety projects. -Prior construction or Fire & Life Safety experience is a plus. -Must possess a strong desire to start a career in the Fire & Life Safety or electrical construction industry. -Must currently be enrolled in a degree program in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a business-related field. -Outstanding interpersonal and team collaboration skills. -Superior communication skills, both written and verbal. -Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. -Can work autonomously and creatively solve problems. -Experience with Bluebeam Revu, Accubid, or other construction technology is a plus. -Occasional travel to the project site or working from the project site may be required -Can flex and adapt with the growing needs of the business.

Benefits

-$26 – $28 hourly, based on experience and qualifications.
