Tasks

-Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams on high-impact projects. -Develop detailed design packages, perform testing, and troubleshoot system performance. -Apply analytical methods, simulations, and modeling tools to validate designs. -Ensure designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards in a highly controlled environment. -Design and implement control and drive electronics for complex machinery and equipment. -Contribute to continuous improvement and technology innovation within the organization.

What You Bring

-Skilled in power electronics, electric motor design, or embedded software development. -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. -3+ years of relevant experience, ideally 10+. -Hands-on experience with manufacturing environments, embedded systems design, or R&D projects. -Must be a have the ability to obtain or hold a DOE 'Q' security clearance. -Master's Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. -Experience in the nuclear, defense, or other highly regulated industries. -6+ years of experience in industrial or power electronics design (Master’s or 12+ years of experience preferred). -Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. -Experience with either motor controls design or analog design. -Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical challenges with innovative, practical solutions. -Proficiency with common engineering tools such as PSPICE, MATLAB, Simulink, and OrCAD. -Active DOE 'Q' or Top Secret clearance. -Solid in hardware design, circuit analysis, and system troubleshooting. -Familiarity with industry codes and standards (UL, IEEE, NEC, ANSI, OSHA, or NUREGS). -Strong understanding of electrical systems ranging from low-voltage DC through three-phase AC.
