The Role

Overview

Maintain building interiors/exteriors, carpentry, painting, pool/spa upkeep, and repairs.

Tasks

-Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry and painting to ensure that the building is properly maintained. -Daily cleaning, chemical checks, and maintenance of the outdoor pool (during seasonal) and indoor spa (year-round) (approx. 2-3 hours per day). The outdoor pool must be open by 5:00 AM during the season (approx. Memorial Day to Labor Day). -Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters and drains. -Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the property. -Perform routine repairs and maintenance tasks across the property. -Reconfigure lobby and skyway doors as needed (approx. 10 minutes per task).

What You Bring

-Ability to operate smartphone & email (day-to-day operations, basic communication/monthlyexpense reports) -Knowledge of company policies, procedures and forms. -Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements. -Must be able to sit, stand, bend, pull/push, grasp, twist, reach above shoulder, walk, stoop,kneel and climb. -Knowledge of electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.) -Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.). -Typical inside/outside work environment year-round (frequent standing, walking, lifting and/oroperating powered equipment using proper safety techniques or tools), exposure to elements likerain, heat or cold. -Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player. -Interpretation and completion of verbal and/or written instructions at a proficient level. -Travel may be required (no overnights) -Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers and clients -Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements. -Must be able to operate a vehicle from one location to another -3 - 5 years of directly related or closely related experience -Professional customer service skills. -Must be able to use hands and fingers to input data to information system; and talk or hear inorder to gather and provide information on departmental processes. -High School Diploma or GED Required -Basic hand tools and some trade power tools (hammer, drill, Sawzall, circular saw, impact drill, ect.) -Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds on a frequent basis. -Knowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.) -Time management and time critical prioritization skills. -Active driver's license -Active CPO license (if not, then willing to obtain one in the first 30 days on the job) -Ability to safely operate, climb and perform work on ladders (1-2 stories) – 24-28ft.
