Tasks

You will lead a team of Production Operatives and operational activities defined to your area, some of which include overall safe operation of plant and equipment, safety, quality, waste and OEE targets and people management. You'll ensure that process control checks and records are completed to company standards and escalation and management of quality incidents through a non-conformance process, guaranteeing all affected products or material is contained/controlled. What You Bring

-Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word etc) -Previous experience operating in a manufacturing site with responsibility for a team of 10 or more colleagues -Excellent people management skills - employee relations, absence management etc. -Knowledge & understanding of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) -Experience of maximising the potential of others including development and performance management -Experience in implementing continuous improvement/lean manufacturing techniques eg DMAIC, would be an advantage -OSH Managing Safely / NEBOSH General Certificate and other relevant qualifications eg ILM, Lean Six Sigma desirable
