The Role

Overview

Design and draft precise MEP drawings, coordinate with engineers, and conduct site assessments.

Tasks

-Conduct site visits to gather field data and assess existing conditions, ensuring that designs are practical and implementable. -Review and modify designs based on feedback from project stakeholders, maintaining open lines of communication throughout the drafting process. -Create detailed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. -Collaborate with engineers and architects to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into overall building design, addressing any potential conflicts.

What You Bring

-Certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems design are highly desirable. -Strong knowledge of industry standards, safety protocols, and quality procedures. -Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent). -Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. -Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software is a must for effective design creation. -A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in MEP drafting and design is essential. -Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
