The Role

Overview

Lead and manage safe, efficient shutdown, maintenance and project works across multiple sites.

Tasks

-Verify work crews are resourced to complete works in a safe working environment -Apply a professional approach to carry out clear, pro-active resolutions to conflicts -Lead the shutdown teams, and manage ongoing works from scoping and tendering through to implementation and final completion across multiple sites -Liaise with procurement and logistics teams to ensure availability of required resources -Identify HSEQ risks, and monitor, implement or enforce safety requirements -Promote a positive culture, reinforce company values and acceptable behaviour -Manage personnel, tooling, equipment, and materials to optimise project outcomes -Oversee budgets, resources, profit and loss (P&L), and assigned works in progress (WIP) -Ensure teams comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies -Manage client and stakeholders, and work collaboratively with work teams and business departments to meet objectives

What You Bring

-High level of technical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to delegate effectively -Proficiency in Microsoft Projects and Pronto (highly regarded) -Extensive experience in the mining and resources sector, particularly in fixed plant operations -Eligible to work in Australia -Demonstrated success in managing large site-based teams and complex shutdowns -Cultivate skills to move into higher-paying positions -Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to high performance -Hold a valid Construction White Card -Possess a relevant Australian-recognised trade qualification -Strong understanding of industry systems, codes, and regulatory requirements -Minimum 5 years’ leadership experience, with proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively
