Overview

Manage existing accounts and acquire new construction business through site visits and solution selling.

Tasks

You will be heavily involved in the entire sales process collaborating with internal teams around stock availability, delivery times and pricing to ensure customer needs are met and issues resolved in a timely manner. You will also drive the sales process through Frame and Truss Manufacturing from estimates through to production. You'll have the autonomy and flexibility to manage a call cycle while also developing and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure we provide complete solutions and packages for customers. Supported by the Branch Manager and Area Sales Manager, you will look after an existing ledger while hunting new business. You will spend the majority of your time visiting building sites, identifying opportunities and understanding your customers' builds, offering solutions and anticipating what your customers need next. Your mission is to ensure CARTERS is front of mind for all key decision makers by adding value to their business and delivering on our sales promises.

What You Bring

Our ideal candidate will have a trade or construction background in Account Management and will already have strong local connections and established relationships with residential builders, commercial construction contractors and developers. CARTERS has an opportunity for an experienced, customer-focused Account Manager to join our Onehunga branch. -Highly self-motivated with exceptional work ethic -Systems savvy/experience using CRM -Solid planning and organisational skills -Building or trade industry knowledge is advantageous -Strong commercial adaptability and agility -A proven sales and relationship management track record -An eye for emerging markets
