Overview
Operate terminal equipment, manage product flow, ensure safety and compliance.

Tasks
-Internal controls providing reasonable assurance of effective and efficient operations, including actions to prevent and detect fraud and protect Company resources -Maintaining terminal buildings and equipment in good condition and operating equipment safely is vital to continued employment. -Ensure compliance with internal control procedures - communicating problems in operations, unwarranted deviations from established standards, and violations of policy or law -Courteous with customers -Loads bulk unit trucks correctly, providing legal weights and proper product for customer delivery or pick up. -Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. -Responsible for the unloading of barges and or railcars, transferring of the products into proper silos, sampling and testing of products received and shipped. -Performs all other duties and functions required by terminal management associated with the operation of the terminal so long as those duties do not present a hazard or violate any known governmental law.

What You Bring
-Knowledge of cement, the construction industry and integrated computer systems an asset -Efficient handling of product in both receiving and shipping is essential to efficient terminal operations. -Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests. -Candidates with a mechanical background and welding experience are desirable -Proficient in trouble shooting terminal equipment failures
