Actively manages, monitors, and reports on the status of the project construction progress and schedule.
Oversees the post-construction process to facilitate handover to operation and conducts warranty reviews.
Oversees the contractor’s construction activity to determine and report on whether program specifications are followed.
Manages the owner’s oversight activities with respect to construction coordination and inspection.
Works collaboratively with the contractor’s construction management team to coordinate the delivery of the works.
Supports the commercial process as part of the contractor’s application for payment and invoicing.
Participates in constructability, scope management, and value engineering reviews during design.
Provides subject matter expertise with respect to construction management and general project delivery matters.
Performs claims review and recommends steps to resolve claims.
Coordinates with safety, quality, and inspection teams.
Manages the owner’s construction management team incl. Deputy Construction Manager and Construction Inspectors for the sub-program.
Supports design management to confirm suitability for procurement and construction.

Strong technical capability in all project phases, including design, planning, construction, operations, and maintenance preferably large program/projects.
Good stakeholder engagement and communication skills including the ability to facilitate meetings / workshops with groups of stakeholders.
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in large international airport projects or equivalent infrastructure programs, including on-site experience working in highly regulated, complex operational environments.
Familiarity of working in collaborative project environments and a working knowledge and experience of progressive contracting models incl. Progressive Design Build and Target Price.
Demonstrated experience in managing teams to deliver complex projects and programs.
Demonstrable experience in managing stakeholder relationships and providing reporting to enable effective decision making.
Recognized degree and professional designation in a relevant field considered an asset.
A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in construction management.
