Tasks

Whether responding to emergency incidents, managing scheduled maintenance, or delivering major construction projects, you’ll be part of a team that puts safety, teamwork, and technical excellence at the forefront of everything we do. As a Transmission Lines Technician, you will play a vital role and be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repairs and construction of transmission line assets across our transmission network. You'll provide technical expertise to ensure our critical infrastructure meets customer expectations and reliability standards. -Carry out inspections and identify condition concerns. -Perform installation, maintenance and repair of transmission line assets. -Act as crew leader where appropriate. -Mentor apprentices and junior technicians. -Prepare safe work methods and associated safety documentation -Coordinate with Field Coordinators and Site Managers.

What You Bring

-Understanding of the inspection, maintenance and construction requirements associated with transmission line infrastructure -Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems – Transmission and/or Distribution Overhead -Flexibility to support on call/afterhours requests and respond to system incidents -A current Australian Driver’s License
