Property Management Internship

Overview

Onsite property management intern handling front office, resident services, inspections, and social media.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Check in with assigned manager and internship program directors regularly to report progress, questions, and any concerns that may arise -Receiving move out notices, service requests, and resident transfers -Welcoming guests in the front office and answering phone calls -Completing rent collections, deposits, late notices, and posting rent -Walk vacant apartment homes, make readies, and complete service requests in property management software -Check assigned email regularly -Work with team to actively post on community social pages including Instagram and Facebook and incorporate responding positively to all online reviews -Preparing the office, model home, vacant apartment homes and tour path -Touring the community and completing a lease application & paperwork

-Learn how to interact with prospects in the following areas: -Ability to collaborate with team members and use available resources to effectively complete tasks -Skilled in basic math -Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel -Learn how to inspect the property in the following areas: -Learn how to interact with residents in the following areas: -Must be able to tour the community with clients, which includes walking the property and climbing stairs -Interest or desire to work in property management, real estate, or sales -Excellent interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail -A 3-day orientation experience at HQ in Dallas, TX with opportunities to network and hear from senior leadership -Ability to work in-person at assigned Willow Bridge Property for the duration of the program -Strong customer service skills and an enjoyment in meeting new people
