Tasks

-Ensuring a clear account management strategy is established and executed to maximise sales opportunities -Engage and interact with the external and national sales teams to maximise sales efforts, and collaborate with all specialist businesses in the Group to support customer projects -Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to enhance business growth -Develop a proactive sales strategy with the relevant stakeholders and monitor using Key Performance Indicators -Create and deliver innovative and measurable plans to improve the customer experience

What You Bring

-Customers are at the heart of this role so ideally you’ll be used to building strong relationships with multiple customers and internal stakeholders, perhaps in a previous field-based role. -You’ll be visiting customers, project sites and branches every day - there’s nothing more important than your safety whilst being out on the road so there’s one thing that you definitely need and that’s a full UK driving licence with over a year’s driving experience. -Bring your passion for sales, customer service, initiative, energy and enthusiasm - knowledge of our industry and products is preferred however not essential . -Previous experience within merchanting would be advantageous, but if you’re new to our industry we’ll ensure you get what you need to excel in the role.
