The Role

Overview

Ensuring MEP project quality through QA/QC inspections and documentation.

Tasks

-Assist in developing and implementing QA/QC policies, procedures, and standards. -Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards. -Help monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. -Contribute to risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to quality management. -Support the Project Manager in overseeing quality control activities across multiple projects. -Assist in coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and clients to resolve quality-related issues. -Contribute to the development and delivery of QA/QC training programs for project teams. -Help prepare and maintain quality control documentation, including reports, checklists, and non-conformance records. -Participate in project meetings and client interactions as required. -Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards. -Support the mentoring of junior QA/QC team members. -Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of lean construction principles and Six Sigma methodologies. -Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.3-5 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control in construction or real estate development. -Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) for quality control. -Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry standards. -Proficiency in MS Office suite and project management software. -Familiarity with quality management systems and ISO standards. -Professional certifications in quality management (e.g., CQA, CQE). -Understanding of sustainability and green building practices -Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
