Provides administrative and project support to senior development leadership.

Tasks

-Provide administration and project-related support, including timely completion of research, project assistance and report writing -Prepare highly confidential correspondence and organize day-to-day schedules, including travel arrangements -Provide and maintain courteous, professional and efficient service to internal and external clients and business associates by responding to requests for information and redirecting inquiries beyond own scope of expertise in order to maintain good levels of customer service -Organize and maintain filing system by ensuring all materials are securely filed on a timely and accurate basis so that documents are readily available and easily retrieved when necessary -Identify issues that have potential to negatively impact the effectiveness of the department and research and recommend viable solutions to the SVPs in order to ensure department runs at optimum efficiency -Manage document controls, retention and filing -Prepare, edit and coordinate presentations in an accurate and timely manner -Complete expense reports and process invoices

What You Bring

-Proficient administration and time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks -Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint -Proactive, analytical, and an effective decision-maker -Excellent writing and proof-reading skills, including proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation -Previous experience in handling confidential or sensitive information -Comfortable interacting at all organizational levels -Able to write moderately complex correspondence -Certificate/diploma in Office Administration an asset -3-5 years related work experience including 1 year supporting multiple managers -Exposure to the Real Estate/Property Management field an asset -Flexibility in work hours is essential as there may be occasions when overtime is required on short notice -Self-starter with good practical judgment and decision making ability -High level of sound and independent judgment, reasoning, and discretion -Ability to work independently with little supervision in a fast paced environment -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Tact and diplomacy -Grade 12 or equivalent -General mathematical and budgeting skills
