Tasks

-Before operating equipment, check for safety, fuel, oil level, tire air pressure, and any other fine-tuning before use -Clean grounds, using rakes and hoses -Daily activities may consist of mowing with various types of mowers including zero turn and push mowers -May use landscaping tools or operate heavy equipment as needed -Complete work in a timely, fine-tuned manner -Trims shrubs and improves gardens -Check high-priority areas daily for debris, blowing needs, weeds, or anything that is unsightly or out of place -Adhere to Company’s safety policy and ensure that the public and co-workers will be safe while performing job duties -Fully fuel up all equipment at the end of each workday -Assist and contribute regularly on projects, at any moment, in any area, as deemed necessary by the department manager or assistant manager -Projects and job tasks are to include but are not limited to, working in inclement weather, home trash pickup, flower planting, laying of sod, fertilizing, chemical applications, planting trees and shrubs, landscape construction, irrigation maintenance, storm cleanup, shop cleanup, equipment maintenance, documentation, street cleaning, pond maintenance, holiday decorating, working from heights -Mows and trims lawns, using a hand mower or power mower

What You Bring

-Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks -Candidate must have experience in operating a locator, wiring and re-wiring irrigation clocks and programming decoders -Be able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time -Have a full range of mobility in the upper and lower body -Previous outside construction, landscape, or similar field experience -High school graduate or equivalent desired -Be able to reach overhead -Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday -Properly applicate fertilizers, pesticides, and chemicals -Exceptional Customer Experience – Delighting our Clients with our Products and Services -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills a must -Use of string trimmers, edgers, blowers, and chainsaws, among a large variety of maintenance tools
