Support safe, efficient delivery of railway possession plans and investigate incidents.

Tasks

-Assist and support with the management of fleet vehicles for the team. -Co-ordinate and assist in the delivery of pre-possession meetings. -Engage with Route wide stakeholders and customers and support with the coordination of their access requirements. -Develop the weekly strategic plan communicating key activities, established risks and known contingencies. -Assist and support with the identification and implementation of quality and efficiency improvements. -Validate and reconcile all relevant transactions incurred in delivery and service of supply contracts. -Assist and support in the identification of possession delivery resource profiles, production of robust roster arrangements and procurement of contract of resources and supplies. -Prepare and distribute possession delivery documentation. -Assist and support in the investigation and incident follow up as required.

What You Bring

-Relevant successful experience in a frontline delivery operations role or delivery planning background -Willing to learn to document all aspects of possession and worksite parameters. -Displays a good attention to detail. -Knowledge of relevant train services and network capacity. -Good understanding of IT and operating of systems. -Knowledge of relevant railway geography and network capability. -Displays good communication skills and a customer focussed approach. -Able to prioritise and organise workload to ensure that deadlines are met. -Knowledge of factors and activities critical to efficient possession delivery. -Able to demonstrate the ability to organise effectively. -Knowledge of accident and investigation procedures. -Knowledge of Road Vehicle legislation process and procedures. -Knowledge of possession safety rules and regulations. -Able to work under pressure. -Personal Track Safety (PTS)
