Tasks

-Develop Talent: Conduct performance evaluations, manage training programs, and build a flexible, skilled workforce prepared for future challenges. -Lead and Inspire: Provide clear direction, coaching, and development opportunities to hourly employees, fostering a culture of accountability and engagement. -Drive Operational Excellence: Monitor workflow, productivity, and quality standards using operational metrics and on-the-floor presence. Identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency. -Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and labor agreements while promoting a safe and organized work environment. -Champion Continuous Improvement: Utilize lean manufacturing principles to develop and execute solutions that reduce waste, improve safety, and enhance overall performance. -Collaborate and Communicate: Partner with managers and peers to share insights, recommend improvements, and align on production goals.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. -Proven track record of leading teams in a union environment. -Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred. -Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing conditions. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with manufacturing software systems. -Experience: 5+ years in manufacturing operations with prior supervisory or leadership experience. -Strong decision-making and critical thinking abilities.
