Tasks

-Maintaining detailed and accurate field notes, records, and sketches. -Preparing AutoCAD Civil 3D drawings for preliminary and detailed design. -Helping where needed across the team, whether that’s field work, drafting, or design support to keep projects moving smoothly. -Collaborating with engineers and project managers to advance design techniques and improve project efficiency. -Assisting in the preparation of engineering drawings, tender packages, and cost estimates. -Conducting accurate topographic, layout, and construction surveys using GPS and other survey equipment. -Conduct field Inspections and construction reviews of civil works, documenting as-built conditions, and assisting with contract administration tasks (RFIs, change orders, and deficiency reviews).

What You Bring

-Strong communication and organizational skills — able to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively. -Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc.) and PDF editing software. -A strong sense of initiative, attention to detail, and commitment to client service. -2+ years of related experience, including survey work using GPS and other equipment. -Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel both locally and to remote communities for field work. -Diploma/Certificate in Civil Engineering Technology (or equivalent combination of education and experience). -Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D is an asset). -Flexibility to apply both your technical field expertise and civil design knowledge in a balanced role. -Experience with survey-grade drones or photogrammetry considered an asset.
