Inventory Specialist

Manage inventory counts, audits, data entry, and forklift operations in warehouse.

Tasks

-Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of inventory to maintain accurate stock levels. -Accurately enter data into the inventory management system (IMS) and ERP software to update records, process adjustments, and generate reports. -Conduct thorough audits of tool inventory, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition. -Identify, research, and reconcile inventory discrepancies in a timely manner. -Assist in investigating the root cause of inventory variances and recommend process improvements. -Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in the warehouse and storage areas. -Collaborate with the purchasing, warehouse, and operations teams to support inventory needs. -Safely operate a forklift (sit-down) to move, locate, and put away palletized inventory as needed. -Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

-High school diploma or equivalent required. -Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. -Comfortable working in a warehouse environment which may not be climate-controlled. -Reliable, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to completing tasks correctly. -Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. -Forklift experience and certification is a strong plus. -Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. -Safely handle, move, and organize materials; able to lift 30 pounds repeatedly without assistance. -Excellent basic math skills for counting and calculating quantities. -Proven experience (1+ years) in inventory control, cycle counting, or a similar role. -Must be able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds without assistance throughout a full shift. -Proficient computer skills and experience with data entry; familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Fishbowl) a plus. -Strong attention to detail and accuracy is non-negotiable.
