The Role

Overview

Manage daily site housekeeping, safety, and labor coordination on construction projects.

Tasks

-Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner. -Coordinate with vendors supporting the project for timely maintenance / upkeep, such as trash vendor. -Overall responsibility for project housekeeping. Manage the daily labor team and prioritize work schedules of daily activities and projects. -Ensure walk paths are well maintained, clear from debris and support the project. -Install protection material around jobsite as directed by Superintendents. -Maintain daily onsite presence providing continual field supervision to monitor activities and field coordination. -Opening the jobsite at beginning of the day and securing the jobsite at the end of the day. -Communicate with project team daily regarding areas of activity for improvement or maintenance. -Ensure all equipment movement and material handling and unloading of material is done so utilizing all safety measures governing these activities.

What You Bring

-Minimum 3 years’ of verifiable experience with thorough knowledge of trades -Experience in mission critical construction is preferred -No certificates or licenses required -Occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds and bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequent use of hands to fingers, and ability to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, ability to adjust focus, and ability to see color. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate written or online documentation. Involves frequent contact with staff. Frequent sitting, standing, and walking. -Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project & Outlook) preferred -Travel: 30% if not local, 3-4 weeks on site and one week remote or willing to relocate for duration of project.
